จากผลที่เกิดขึ้นทำให้ “เรือใบสีฟ้า” คว้าแชมป์รายการดังกล่าวไปครองเป็นสมัยที่ 7 ของสโมสรต่อจากปี 1903–04, 1933–34, 1955–56, 1968–69, 2010–11, 2018–19
นอกจากนั้นแล้วยังเป็นโทรฟี่แชมป์รายการที่ 2 ของฤดูกาลนี้ต่อจาก พรีเมียร์ลีก อังกฤษ พร้อมยังอยู่ในเส้นทางลุ้นทริปเปิลแชมป์หลังมีโปรแกรมลงสนามในฟุตบอลยูฟ่า แชมเปียนส์ ลีก รอบชิงชนะเลิศกับ อินเตอร์ มิลาน วันที่ 10 มิ.ย.นี้
