ตั้งข้อหากัปตันรัสเซีย – วันที่ 16 เม.ย. เดลีเมล์ และ เมโทร รายงานว่า ทางการรัสเซียตั้งข้อหาอย่างเป็นทางการกับ นายเดนิส เอฟโดกิมอฟ นักบิน สายการบินแอโรฟลอต วัย 42 ปี ฐานกระทำการโดยประมาท จากเหตุเครื่องบินซุคฮอย ซูเปอร์เจ็ท 100 ถูกฟ้าผ่ากลางอากาศ จนต้องนำเครื่องลงจอดฉุกเฉิน
ก่อนที่ส่วนหางจะเกิดไฟไหม้ลุกท่วมระหว่างแล่นไปตามรันเวย์ของท่าอากาศยานเชเรเมเตียโวในกรุงมอสโก ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิต 41 รายจากผู้โดยสารและลูกเรือรวม 78 คน เมื่อวันที่ 5 พ.ค.2562
คณะกรรมการสอบสวนแห่งรัสเซียระบุจากการตรวจสอบว่า นายเอฟโดกิมอฟละเมิดมาตรการความปลอดภัย ขับเครื่องบินด้วยความประมาท และล้มเหลวในการควบคุมสถานการณ์ ซึ่งนำไปสู่โศกนาฏกรรมและความสูญเสียร้ายแรง หากศาลพิพากษาว่ามีความผิดจริง นายเอฟโดกิมอฟอาจต้องโทษจำคุกสูงสุด 7 ปี

Investigators check the documents of the victims. They say the Superjet has been hit by lightning on 16 previous occasions, but this was the only time it led to catastrophe. Investigative Committee
