โควิด: คลัสเตอร์ “อีแทวอน” ป่วยพุ่ง – วันที่ 14 พ.ค. โคเรียเฮอรัลด์ รายงานความคืบหน้ากรณีพบคลัสเตอร์หรือผู้ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 เป็นกลุ่มก้อน จากสถานบันเทิง ย่านอีแทวอน ในกรุงโซล ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ ว่า พบผู้ป่วยรายใหม่อีก 14 คน ส่งผลให้ยอดรวมผู้ติดเชื้อที่เชื่อมโยงกับคลัสเตอร์อีแทวอนมีอย่างน้อย 133 คน
นายปาร์ก วอนซุน นายกเทศมนตรีกรุงโซล แถลงเรียกร้องให้นักเที่ยวที่ใช้บริการผับบาร์ตั้งแต่วันที่ 24 เม.ย. จนถึงวันที่ 6 พ.ค. เข้ารับการตรวจหาเชื้อโควิด-19 จากศูนย์ตรวจสอบของหน่วยงานสาธารณสุขที่ให้บริการหลายจุดทั่วเมืองหลวง
พร้อมยืนยันว่าข้อมูลของผู้เข้ารับการตรวจหาเชื้อจะถูกปิดเป็นความลับเพื่อให้เหล่านักเที่ยว โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มรักเพศเดียวกัน สามารถตรวจร่างกายได้อย่างสบายใจ รวมถึงรับการรักษาที่ถูกต้อง และป้องกันการแพร่เชื้อไปยังผู้อื่นได้ทันท่วงที

นายปาร์กกล่าวอีกว่าทางการกรุงโซลตรวจหาเชื้อในกลุ่มผู้ต้องสงสัยเพิ่มขึ้นถึง 8 เท่า ตรวจไปแล้วอย่างน้อย 24,082 คน ขณะที่ทั่วประเทศมีรายงานการตรวจหาเชื้อของกลุ่มเสี่ยงจากคลัสเตอร์ยอีแทวอนเกือบ 35,000 คน
นอกจากนี้ทางการท้องถิ่นกรุงโซลและกระทรวงสาธารณสุขเกาหลีใต้ประกาศใช้บทลงโทษปรับเงินสูงสุดไม่เกิน 2 ล้านวอน หรือราว 52,000 บาท กับผู้ป่วยโรคโควิด-19 จากคลัสเตอร์อีแทวอนที่หลีกเลี่ยงการตรวจร่างกาย และพบภายหลังว่าเคยเดินทางไปท่องราตรีในช่วงที่มีการแพร่ระบาดของโรค
