ไฟไหม้ เต็นท์กักตัว ในโรงพยาบาลบังกลาฯ สลดผู้ป่วย โควิดสังเวยแล้ว 5 ศพ

ไฟไหม้ “เต็นท์กักตัว” – วันที่ 28 พ.ค. รอยเตอร์ และ สเตรตส์ไทมส์ รายงานว่า เกิดเหตุ ไฟไหม้ ที่โรงพยาบาลยูไนเต็ดในกรุงธากา ประเทศบังกลาเทศ เมื่อเวลา 22.00 น. ของวันพุธที่ 27 พ.ค.ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น

ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 5 ราย โดยทั้งหมดเป็นผู้ป่วยโรคโควิด-19 อายุระหว่าง 45-75 ปี เข้ารับการรักษาในส่วนเต็นท์แยกกักตัวชั่วคราว ด้านนอกอาคารหลักของโรงพยาบาล เบื้องต้นหน่วยดับเพลิงใช้เวลากว่า 1 ชั่วโมงจึงควบคุมสถานการณ์ได้ ส่วนสาเหตุเจ้าหน้าที่กำลังเร่งสอบสวน

ทั้งนี้ บังกลาเทศมีเหตุไฟไหม้เกิดขึ้นบ่อยครั้ง ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพราะระบบความปลอดภัยไม่ได้มาตรฐาน โดยเมื่อเดือนมี.ค.ปีก่อน มีเหตุไฟไหม้อาคารสูง 22 ชั้นในย่านธุรกิจใจกลางกรุงธากา คร่า 25 ชีวิต และก่อนหน้านี้นะมื่อเดือนก.พ.ปีเดียวกัน มีเหตุไฟไหม้ย่านเก่าแก่กว่า 100 ปีในกรถงธากาเช่นกัน และพบผู้เสียชีวิตเกือบ 80 ราย
