อดีตตำรวจมือฆ่า จอร์จ ฟลอยด์ “พ้นคุก” หลังยื่นประกันตัว 31 ล้าน!
อดีตตำรวจมือฆ่า จอร์จ ฟลอยด์ – บีบีซี รายงานวันที่ 8 ต.ค. ถึงกระแสวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ใน สหรัฐอเมริกา หลังจาก นายดีเรก ชอวิน อดีตตำรวจเมืองมินนีแอโปลิส รัฐมินเนโซตา ผู้ต้องสงสัยฆาตกรรม นายจอร์จ ฟลอยด์ ชายผิวดำไร้อาวุธ จากการใช้กำลังจับกุมและก่อให้เกิดการเคลื่อนไหวต่อต้านการเหยียดผิวไปทั่วโลก เมื่อเดือนพ.ค.ที่ผ่านมา
ได้รับการปล่อยตัวจากเรือนจำเป็นการชั่วคราวระหว่างรอดำเนินคดี ภายหลังจ่ายหลักทรัพย์ประกันตัวที่ 1 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือราว 31.2 ล้านบาท เมื่อวันพุธที่ 7 ต.ค.ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น
ด้าน นายเบน แคมป์ ทนายความด้านสิทธิมนุษยชนและตัวแทนครอบครัวของนายฟลอยด์ กล่าวว่าการปล่อยตัวนายชอวินเป็นเครื่องย้ำเตือนที่แสนเจ็บปวดว่าคดีนี้ยังห่างไกลจากการได้รับความยุติธรรม
ทั้งนี้ นายชอวินซึ่งถูกตั้งข้อหาฆาตกรรมโดยเจตนาแต่ไม่ได้ไตร่ตรองไว้ก่อนและฆ่าผู้อื่นโดยประมาท จะเริ่มการไต่สวนดำเนินคดีในเดือนมี.ค.2564
