เกาหลีใต้ “อ่วมโอมิครอน” ติดเชื้อรายวันทะลุ 17,500 คน-สูงเป็นประวัติการณ์
เกาหลีใต้ “อ่วมโอมิครอน” – วันที่ 29 ม.ค. รอยเตอร์ รายงานสถานการณ์โรคโควิด-19 ที่หวนวิกฤตใน เกาหลีใต้ อีกครั้ง ท่ามกลางการแพร่ระบาดอย่างหนักของ สายพันธุ์โอมิครอน ว่า สำนักงานควบคุมและป้องกันโรคแห่งเกาหลี (เคซีดีซี) แถลงว่าพบผู้ป่วยใหม่ในช่วง 24 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมาอีก 17,542 คน
ถือเป็นครั้งแรกที่ตัวเลขผู้ติดเชื้อสูงเกิน 17,000 คน ทั้งยังทุบสถิติเดิม 16,085 คน เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 28 ม.ค.ที่ผ่านมา และกลายเป็นจำนวนผู้ป่วยรายวันสูงสุดของประเทศตั้งแต่เผชิญกับการระบาดใหญ่ของโควิด-19 เมื่อปี 2563 ขณะที่ยอดสะสมเพิ่มเป็น 811,122 คน และเสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 6,712 ราย
