เกาหลีใต้ยกระดับ “โรคควรระวัง” หลังพบผู้ป่วย “ฝีดาษลิง” คนแรกของประเทศ
เกาหลีใต้ยกระดับ – รอยเตอร์ รายงานว่า ทางการ เกาหลีใต้ แถลงยืนยันพบผู้ป่วย โรคฝีดาษลิง คนแรกของประเทศ และยกระดับการแจ้งเตือนโรคฝีดาษลิงเป็นโรคติดเชื้อ “ควรระวัง” ที่ระดับ 2 จากทั้งหมด 4 ระดับ
ขณะที่สถานการณ์โรคฝีดาษลิงทั่วโลกพบผู้ติดเชื้อที่ยืนยันแล้ว 3,650 คนใน 51 ประเทศหรือเขตการปกครอง สเปนมีรายงานผู้ป่วยมากที่สุด 818 คน และก่อนหน้านี้สิงคโปร์เพิ่งแถลงพบผู้ติดเชื้อคนแรกของประเทศและเป็นคนแรกของอาเซียนด้วย

สำนักงานควบคุมและป้องกันโรคของเกาหลีใต้ (เคดีซีเอ) ระบุเมื่อวันพุธที่ 22 มิ.ย. ว่าชาวเกาหลีใต้ผู้ติดเชื้อฝีดาษลิงอยู่ระหว่างรับการรักษาที่โรงพยาบาลอินชอน เมดิคอล เซ็นเตอร์ ภายหลังเดินทางกลับจากเยอรมนีเมื่อช่วงบ่ายวันอังคารที่ 21 มิ.ย. ต่อมามีอาการป่วยและตรวจพบว่าติดเชื้อฝีดาษลิง
เคดีซีเอกล่าวอีกว่าจะเพิ่มมาตรการเฝ้าระวังและกำหนดพื้นที่แยกกักตัวผู้ป่วย โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มคนที่มาจากประเทศที่มีการระบาดของโรคฝีดาษลิง
นางเพ็ก คยองรัน ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานควบคุมและป้องกันโรคของเกาหลีใต้ กล่าวว่าสำนักงานเตรียมวัคซีน การรักษาที่ปลอดภัย และกำลังขยายขีดความสามารถในการตรวจสอบวินิจฉัยโรคอย่างต่อเนื่อง
นอกจากนี้บุคคลที่ใกล้ชิดผู้ป่วยโรคฝีดาษลิง เคยสัมผัสร่างกายผู้ที่ได้รับการยืนยันติดเชื้อ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผู้มีความเสี่ยงปานกลางหรือเสี่ยงสูงจะได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนภายใต้ความยินยอมเพื่อป้องกันการแพร่กระจายของโรค
