จอน ฟอสส์ – เอพี รายงานวันที่ 5 ต.ค. ว่า ราชบัณฑิตยสภาสวีเดนประกาศมอบ รางวัลโนเบลสาขาวรรณกรรม ประจำปี 2566 แก่ นายจอน ฟอสส์ นักเขียนชาวนอร์เวย์ จากงานเขียนที่สร้างสรรค์และเป็นเสียงแก่ผู้ที่ไม่อาจพูดได้
ผลงานชิ้นใหญ่ของนายฟอสส์เขียนเป็นภาษานอร์เวย์แบบนีน็อชก์หรือภาษานอร์เวย์ใหม่ ครอบคลุมงานเขียนหลายประเภท ประกอบด้วยบทละคร นวนิยาย บทกวี บทความ หนังสือสำหรับเด็ก และงานแปลมากมาย
ปัจจุบันนายฟอสส์ไม่เพียงเป็นหนึ่งในนักเขียนบทละครที่มีผลงานแพร่หลายมากที่สุดในโลก แต่ยังได้รับการยอมรับจากผลงานร้อยแก้วมากขึ้นด้วย

โดยนายฟอสส์จะได้รับเงินรางวัล 11 ล้านโครเนอร์สวีเดน หรือกว่า 37 ล้านบาท พร้อมกันนี้ยังได้รับเหรียญรางวัลโนเบลทองคำ 18 เค และใบประกาศเกียรติคุณ
