ฟิลิปปินส์ดินไหว – รอยเตอร์ รายงานวันที่ 23 ม.ค. ว่า เกิด แผ่นดินไหว ขนาด 5.8 แม็กนิจูด มีจุดศูนย์กลางนอกชายฝั่งเมืองซานฟรานซิสโก จังหวัดเลเต ทางตอนกลางของ ฟิลิปปินส์ เมื่อช่วงเช้าตามเวลาท้องถิ่น และลึกลงไประหว่าง 14 กิโลเมตร
ขณะที่สำนักสำรวจธรณีวิทยาสหรัฐอเมริกา (ยูเอสจีเอส) ระบุว่าแผ่นดินไหวครั้งนี้อยู่ที่ความลึก 25 กิโลเมตร
