เจ้าหน้าที่ดับเพลิง 430 นาย พร้อมด้วยรถดับเพลิงและเฮลิคอปเตอร์ 11 ลำใช้เวลานานกว่า 9 ชั่วโมงครึ่งจึงสามารถควบคุมไฟที่โหมไหม้เมื่อเวลา 15.30 น. ของวันเดียวกัน
